Raphael Architects, located in historic Bucks County in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, was established in 1986 by Michael B. Raphael, AIA, LEED AP, a registered architect and graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
During this time we have built a reputation for developing innovative house designs for both complex and straight-forward challenges. Although our projects range in size and scope from historic renovations to contemporary new homes, our process remains consistent. We maintain focus on meeting our clients' expectations concerning functional, financial and aesthetic requirements to create pragmatic and poetic architecture.
As architects, we strive to:
- Refine the aspirations of our clients;
- Implement sustainable design techniques;
- Express the craft of construction;
- Create house designs to celebrate the activities within the home;
- Create homes unique to each client’s character and personality.
As leaders, we must:
- Collaborate with owners, engineers and contractors throughout the design and construction process;
- Promote sustainability to enhance and protect our natural resources;
- Maintain equilibrium between cost, quality and project scope;
- Create useful and efficient buildings.
